W. Andrew Neely was raised in Jackson, Mississippi, and has been practicing law for thirteen years.
He completed his undergraduate studies (B.B.A. Business Administration and Spanish, 2000) at Millsaps College. In 2006, he received his J.D. (cum laude) from Mississippi College School of Law and was admitted to the Mississippi and Tennessee Bars. Between 2006 and 2008, Andrew served as a pupil at the Charles Clark American Inns of Court. Andrew is an AV Rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. Andrew gave a CLE presentation for the Mississippi Bar: Young Lawyers division in September 2014 on the subject of Case Evaluation and Investigation from a Plaintiff's Practice Perspective.
After graduating from Millsaps, Andrew lived for a few years in San Jose, Costa Rica, where he became fluent in Spanish and worked as an English instructor, teaching English as a foreign language to Costa Ricans of all ages. In law school, Andrew served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Legal Eye, the law school newspaper, in his third year.
Andrew lives in Jackson and serves on the St. Andrew's Episcopal School Alumni Board; Fondren Renaissance Foundation Board; Briarwood Pool Board of Directors; and the Millsaps College Arts & Lecture Series Board. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys playing tennis, running, cooking, reading, and traveling. He is married with two young daughters.
